To assist industry professionals and technical personnel in enhancing their theoretical knowledge and technical skills, accurately grasping the development trends of the industry, and at the same time promoting the implementation and transformation of research and development achievements by academic institutions and scholars, as well as expanding the promotion channels for teaching outcomes, the editorial department of "Compressor Technology" actively plays the role of a bridge and liaison, coordinating and organizing industry enterprises and academic institution editorial boards to carry out in-depth cooperation and exchange activities between industry, academia and research.
From March 25th to 26th, 2026, the first round of exchange activities was successfully held. The editorial department specially invited Professor Wu Weifeng from the School of Energy and Power Engineering of Xi'an Jiaotong University and Professor Yu Xiaoling from the School of Chemical Engineering and Technology to conduct specialized training and exchange guidance in industry enterprises in Shenyang.
During the training period, the two professors, drawing on their own research fields and industry experience, gave in-depth and systematic explanations on core components such as compressor principles, thermal and power calculations, and valve structures to the technical backbone and relevant employees of the enterprise. The content was both theoretically profound and practically instructive, effectively filling the gaps in the professional knowledge of the enterprise's technical personnel. After the training, the two professors also visited the enterprise's production and testing base in person, thoroughly understanding the enterprise's production process, technical bottlenecks, and development needs. They also held discussions and exchanges with the enterprise's leaders and core backbone members, exchanging opinions and reaching consensus on issues such as solving technical problems and deepening the cooperation between industry, academia, and research.
